Sample Sales Team Associate ~ Key Holder Position Description:
Leads the Team by:
- Being a strong, compassionate leader who leads and builds people up at the same time

- Fill in the duties for the Store Manager when the Store Manager is not available.
Job Responsibilities ~ Financial Performance:
- Actively work the sales floor, interacting with customers and employees to achieve the store's sales goals.
- Be one of the top sales people in the store. Lead all staff in world-class customer service to deliver on all financial goals of the organization.
- Personally buy, work with and train the team, as needed, to buy gently used products and invite customers to return to the store to buy, sell or trade their gently used sports and fitness gear and equipment.
Job Responsibilities ~ Staff Performance:
- Ensure staff developed proficiency in operating computerized Point of Sale (POS) and sales tracking system for all sales transactions, buys, returns, etc when the Manager is not present.
Job Responsibilities ~ Store Merchandising and Operations:
- Participate in store merchandising ensure a professional, accessible, and inviting shopping experience, including sorting, straightening, arranging fixtures and setting up feature displays.
- In the absence of the Manager, train staff to price and ticket items based on pricing and buying guidelines and train staff to restock store following a merchandising plan.
- Responsible for exporting daily files in the absence of the Manager.
- Ensure store displays are maintained and housekeeping and maintenance standards are implemented when the Manager is not present.
Job Responsibilities ~ Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and work for up to 9 hours a day
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs without assistance. May involve heavier lifting with assistance of a team member or cart/dolly
- Ability to bend, rotate and reach customary to a retail environment, including receiving, pricing and stocking/back stocking merchandise
- Ability to operate a computerized sales terminal (POS)
Time/Schedule:
- 25 hour per week minimum. May include weekends and evenings
- Store Hours: 10 - 8 Mon - Fri; 10 - 6 Sat; 12 - 5 Sun
