What made you want to work at Play It Again Sports?

I played soccer and enjoy watching a variety of sports, which piqued my interest in Play It Again Sports.

What’s your favorite thing about working in a sports-oriented environment?

I love being around all the gear and learning more about sports from the team. It’s cool helping someone find what they need—whether it’s hockey, baseball, or any other sport.

How would your coworkers describe you in three words?

Funny, reliable, and smart.

What sports do you play or enjoy?

Soccer and pickleball.

All-time favorite sport?

Soccer! I played club soccer and for Eagan High School. I love how fast-paced it is, there’s always something happening. It’s a sport that’s stuck with me and brought a lot of friendships.

Favorite team or athlete?

Chelsea FC

One piece of gear you couldn’t live without:

My pickleball paddle

Ever coached or volunteered in sports?

Not yet, but I’ve learned a lot about gear from working in the store.

What does a typical day look like?

I’m usually on the register helping customers check out or pricing used gear. I also assist customers with questions and help them find the right equipment for their sport.

Favorite product we carry:

Pickleball paddles. Ever since I started playing last year, I’ve been obsessed. I’m always checking out the new and used options.

Most memorable customer interaction?

I helped a dad find rollerblades for himself and his two kids. He wanted to teach them what he loved doing as a kid, it was a really cool moment.

What have you learned since working here?

A lot! Especially about hockey gear, baseball gloves, and bats.

One thing you wish more customers knew:

Just because we’re a used store doesn’t mean everything is worn out. We carry great quality used gear and lots of brand-new items too.

Do you play any sports or have a fitness hobby?

I just finished my senior football season in November and I love going to the gym.

Football — because of the long-lasting traditions and how it brings people together.

Yes! I coached the unified basketball team at Eagan High School.
