Intro & New Features

New for 2025 is the CCM Jetspeed FT880 protective series. The FT880 series focuses on breathability, comfort, and mobility while providing a high-level of protection at a recreational level. It features a hybrid 2-piece design, a compress-molded EVA foam guard, and a floating bicep pad that is reinforced with PE Plastic.

Construction

The FT880 elbow pads feature a unique hybrid design that incorporates two separate parts to ensure the perfect balance of mobility, comfort, and protection. The newly designed floating bicep pad lets the competitive player move naturally, in a lighter, yet robust construction.

Bicep Protection

The biceps are protected with a floating bicep pad that is reinforced with PE Plastic. This provides players with high-caliber coverage around the bicep area and the soft liner adds to the comfort to provide players with a competitive-level elbow pad.

Forearm Protection

CCM implemented a compress-molded EVA foam guard for protection. The quality molded EVA forearm guard is reinforced with PE Plastic and sublimated lining to provide excellent protection and comfort.

Elbow Cap

The JDP elbow cap construction features a molded PE cap that anatomically fits around your elbow, and the donut hole helps keep it all in place. The exposed EVA foam cover design allows the elbow pads to remain durable while the sublimated lining offers high-level protection and comfort.

Strapping System

The FT880 elbow pads feature a flexible middle lock strap that can be seen on the upper portion of the elbow pad. This design allows the top half to sit in place when properly adjusted, while the nylon forearm strap keeps the protection in place, helping to prevent any injuries against impacts.

Liner

CCM used a sublimated liner in the FT880 elbow pads. The sublimated liner is designed to wick away any moistures, and keep the gear fresh, and dry for longer. The liner in the bicep area is soft to combine competitive level protection and comfort.

Sizes

The CCM Jetspeed FT880 Senior Hockey Elbow Pads are available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large.
