Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Loving Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be key in driving sales and fostering customer loyalty. Duties - Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. - Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. - Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers. - Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits. - Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. - Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions and ensure accurate cash handling. - Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Requirements - Familiarity with Sports and Sporting Goods Equipment. - Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. - Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers. - Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash registers. - Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing. - Ability to perform product demos effectively. - Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus. - Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction. - A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
