HALF BACK SKI PROGRAM-For Kids Equipment

Every season, we sell hundreds of new skis—and a big reason why is our Half Back Program.

  1. Two Full Years
  2. You get 730 days—two full ski seasons—from the date of purchase to return your gear. Most other stores only give you until the end of the current season.
  3. Flexible Store Credit
  4. Use your Half Back credit on anything in the store—not just skis. Prefer a snowboard next time? Want to try skates, a bike, or something else? No problem.

Program Details:

If you purchase a new ski and binding package for $249.99 on December 15, 2024, and return it by December 14, 2026, we’ll give you $125 in store credit—half your original purchase price. That means your skis and bindings only cost you $124.99 (excluding taxes) in the end.


Please note: Boots and poles are not included in the Half Back program. However, we do buy them back based on condition—just like we do with equipment from other sports.

More Affordable Than Renting!

  • You line up 30 minutes before and return gear 30 minutes after each lesson.
  • You only get to use the equipment during the lesson—just 1 hour a week.

With our program:


  • Equipment costs around $190 (that’s $125 after Half Back for skis/bindings + approx. $50 for used boots + $15 for used poles).
  • You skip the line-ups.
  • You can ski anytime, anywhere—not just during lessons.
  • You get to use your gear for 2 full years—not just 8 hours!

You save money in year one, and even more if you'd need to rent again next season.

And after two years? Keep the equipment, hand it down, or bring it back for a buy/trade/consign option. Either way, it's still a better value than renting.


But at Play It Again Sports – Etobicoke, you’re not locked in. Whether your child switches sports, you find a great secondhand deal, or simply want something different, you can still use your credit.
