How does selling to Play It Again Sports Work?
How Selling to Play It Again Sports Works
- Check if Your Items Are Accepted: Play It Again Sports buys used sports equipment, fitness gear, and outdoor items in good condition. Call or visit your local store to confirm if they accept your items.
- Bring Your Gear to the Store: Clean and bring in your equipment for inspection.
- Get an Offer: The store will evaluate your items based on condition, brand, and demand, then make an offer.
- Accept or Decline the Offer: You can choose between cash or store credit. Store credit may offer more value.
- Get Paid: If you accept the offer, you’ll receive payment or store credit on the spot.
What if I'm unsure your store will take my item(s)?
If you're unsure whether we'll take your item(s), give us a call at (843)-388-2600 or email us pictures at playitagainsportsmtp@gmail.com. We'll be happy to help you!
Is it cash on the spot or do I have to wait for my item(s) to sell?
We offer either store credit or cash on the spot. Store credit is 50% of our retail value, while cash is 30%. For larger item(s), you can opt for consignment, which offers 50% of the retail value, but please note that you will need to wait for the item to sell before receiving payment for consigned item(s).
Do I need to schedule a time to bring my item(s) by?
No, you do not need to schedule a time to bring in your items. Feel free to come by anytime we’re open! While we assess your items, you can browse the store. Please note that if you're bringing in 5 or more items, the process may take 20 minutes or more.
What if I can not transport my item(s)?
If you're unable to transport your items, we'd be happy to arrange a pickup for you. Please note that depending on the items and distance, this may affect the value of your items. Give us a call at (843)-388-2600, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements!
